Maxine Muncy Chinn, 95, of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 8, 2019 from Trinity Station. She was born January 3, 1924 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Wirt and Maude Kibbey Muncy. She was a former secretary at Armco Steel and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Roadrunners Club and the Bonanza Golf Club at Ponderosa Golf Course. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Chinn, one granddaughter, Jessica Lambert; four brothers, Garland Muncy, Albert Muncy, Marvin Muncy and Charlie Muncy and one sister, Mary Lou Doughtery. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Brad) Lambert of Raceland; one son, David (Jan) Chinn of Raceland; three grandchildren, Abigail Lambert, Melissa Scott and Kevin Chinn; four great grandchildren, Kaleb Scott, Nolan Scott, Jaxon Chinn and Josie Chinn. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Miller Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Bramel. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice at 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, KY 41101.
