Max’s Obituary Kinder-Funeral Services for Max Dale Henriksen, 57, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow at Hebert Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes. The family will receive visitors from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service. Max was a loving dad and grandfather. He enjoyed working in his yard, from cutting grass to growing flowers and trees. His presence was great to be around that he could make anyone smile or laugh. Max loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In his spare time, Max loved to fish. He worked at Colonial Glass in Lake Charles for many years. Max will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish Max’s memory include his son, James Henriksen of Kinder; two daughters, Amy Kratzer and husband, James, of Roanoke and Jennifer Oliver and husband, Joshua, of Welsh; and ten grandchildren. Max is preceded in death by his parents, Larry E. Henriksen, Mary Jane and Charles Avery; and one brother, Carl Henriksen. Read More
