Mary’s Obituary Mary Woods was born in Stuttgart, AR February 01, 1931 to the proud parents the late Paul Mahomes and the late Hazel B. Miller. She is also preceded in death by her late husband, Lorone Woods; sons, Larry Nixon and Charles Chambers; daughter, Evorn Burks; and one great granddaughter, Tanashia Abbott Lindsey. Mary was very loving, caring, compassionate, understanding and very outspoken broken beautiful woman. She loved watching her church videos, going to church, watching her cowboy movies, a woman of God stole out to God, very protective of her children and grandchildren. She was 45 years old when she gave her life. On Saturday, December 21, 2019 the angel Gabriel entered her hospital room and took her home. Mary leaves to cherish, two precious daughters, Prophetess Jeanette Phillips Taylor and Marva Hills; three brothers, Ronnie Mahomes, George Mahomes and Walter Mahomes; two sisters, Barbara Mahomes and Alice Mahomes. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Read More
