Obituary Mary Rose Goldesberry, 77 of Cawood passed away Friday afternoon of December 20, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. Mary was born September 28, 1942 in Cranks to the late Bill and Verlena Owens Hurley. She was a homemaker and believed in the Church of God Faith. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Sonny Goldesberry, Sr; her son, William Sonny Goldesberry, Jr; daughter, Emily Bowling. She is survived by her children, Susie Earls, James Goldesberry, Brenda Hurley, Charlie Goldesberry, Lisa Walbright, Mary Lynn Adams, Judy Stewart, Verlena Thomas, and Teresa Morgan; she leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren; 1 brother, Arthur Hurley; 2 sisters, Verna and Joyce Hurley. In keeping with Mary’s wishes all services are private and burial will be in the Fields Cemetery at Cawood, KY.
