Mary’s Obituary Mrs. Mary Eugenia Sims Dykes, 92, of Dalton died peacefully in her sleep at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Sims Sr. and Vivian I. Sims; her husband, Clay Dykes Jr. and her brother, Warren Sims Jr. Mary is survived by her children, Jane (Wes) Pate Davis and Clay (Cindy) Dykes of Dalton and Mark (Michelle) McBryde of Pasadena, CA; grandchildren, Stuart (Emily) Pate, Ben (Amanda) Pate, Andy Dykes, Frank (Allison) Dykes, Thomas Dykes, Mary Kathryn Dykes (Kenneth) Endicott, Leighton and Henri McBryde; six great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held on January 12th, 2020 at 3 p.m. at ChristChurch Presbyterian. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society, P.O.
