Marshall Dwight Sterling, 62, of Bald Knob, died Friday, December 13, 2019 in Des Arc. He was born December 1, 1957 in Searcy a son of the late Ira Marshall and Daisy Leo (Clark) Sterling. Dwight had worked as a truck driver for many years and enjoyed every mile he drove. He was a loving, big-hearted man who never met a stranger. He is survived by his former wife and care-giver, Burldean Hart; son, Michael Sterling; siblings, Robert Sterling, Dennis Sterling, James Sterling, Cathy Cole, Sue Ellis and Phyllis Choate. He was preceded in death by siblings, Jerry Sterling, Merle Sterling and Glenda Haynes. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Steward Addition of Shady Grove Cemetery.
