Tribute Margaret A. Hehemann, 87, loving wife to Delbert Hehemann, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday December 28, 2019. She was born to the late Robert and Alberta (Pennington) Foreman in Louisville on June 29, 1932. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Jason James. Margaret retired from the JCBE as a bookkeeper and she worked for Cane Run and Kenwood Elementary, and Meyer Middle schools. She was a member of Shively Methodist Church which later became Mosaic Methodist Church. She was a strong-willed woman but had a heart of gold. She was a good and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved being around the kids. She enjoyed basketball and animals especially cats. She grew up near Wesley House Community Center and enjoyed the activities there. She was raised by three strong women; her mother, grandmother and aunt. From them she learned her strong work ethic, learned to stand up for herself and to be a fighter till the end. Besides her husband of 67 years, she is survived by her children, Gene Hehemann and Jan Turner (Mark). Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Kentucky Humane Society, 241 Steedley Drive, Louisville, KY 40214 (502-366-3355) or the charity of your choice.
