Macon’s Obituary Macon “Mickey” Clark 80, formerly of Amarillo died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 in Irving. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 at Llano Cemetery with Matthew Stidham, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mickey was born in Walters, OK. He moved to Amarillo in 1960 from Claude. He worked for the City of Amarillo in the sign department for many years, retiring in the late 1970’s. After retiring from the City of Amarillo, Mickey became a commercial and residential painter. He moved to Irving in the early 1990’s, where he co-owned and operated Action Services. He retired in 2010. He married Carolyn Morrison on Oct. 15, 1960 in Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mickey is survived by his wife Carolyn of Irving; one son, Macon “Mike” Clark, III of Irving; one daughter, Judy Perez and her husband Ru of Amarillo; one sister, La June Howell of Amarillo; three brothers, Glen Clark of Denver, CO, and Jerry and David Clark both of Amarillo; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from noon to 8 pm Tuesday, noon to 4 pm on Wednesday and 9 am to 1 pm Thursday. The family will receive friends at 1904 Goliad. Read More
