Louise M. Burger, 76, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. She was born on April 5, 1943 in Frewsburg, N.Y., the daughter of the late Charles Alanzo and Norma Mae Durlin Lee. Louise came from a family of twelve children and she was the oldest. Louise was raised and educated in Frewsburg and graduated from Frewsburg Central School. She worked several years at Crawford Furniture. Louise’s main priority was raising and caring for her family. She was a compassionate person with a big heart. She enjoyed helping the Amish. Louise is survived by five sons: Steve Richard Burger of Texas, Joseph Kevin Burger of Jamestown, N.Y., Paul (Paula) Burger of Jamestown, N.Y., Wayne Michael Burger of Florida, Brian Scott (Roxi) Burger of Florida; six brothers: James (Mary) Lee of Jamestown, N.Y., Charles (Gail) Lee of Frewsburg, N.Y., Dennis (Helen) Lee of Jamestown, N.Y., Robert (Sandi) Lee of Frewsburg, N.Y., Richard (Donna) Lee of Jamestown, N.Y., Kenneth Lee of Jamestown, N.Y.; four sisters: Sandra (Fred) Anderson of Mayville, N.Y., Marian Amatuzzo of Jamestown, N.Y., Shirley Spontaneo of Jamestown, N.Y. and June Lee of Jamestown, N.Y., seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Burger whom she married on April 9, 1965 and who died on December 1, 2018; a daughter in infancy and a sister: Norma Jean Smith.
