Obituary Alvie Louie Walker, age 79, of Boaz, Alabama died December 3, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center. Funeral Service will be Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Jerri Manasco and Doyle Parker officiating with burial in Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, December 5 2019, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mr. Walker was born in Blount County, Alabama on April 4, 1940 to Clarence and Edith Cornelius Walker. He was a retired electrician. He is survived by: his wife: Shirley Walker of Boaz, Son: Lamar Walker of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Lorri & Mack Johnson of Harvest, Grandchildren: Amanda Whitt (Derrick), Jonathan Walker, Alexandria Walker and Savannah Johnson, Great Grandchildren: Presley Whitt, Drake Whitt, Ava Stone and Jacklynn Stone. Pallbearers will be Doug Holmes, Jonathan Walker, Wilburn Umphrey, Mike Mitchell, Larry Brooks, Joey Umphrey and Kelvin Umphrey. The family will accept flowers of suggests donations to Hope Lodge, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or Parkinson’s.
