Obituary Linda M. (Klausing) Mitchell, 70, of Van Wert passed away Wednesday morning, December 11, 2019. She was born November 21, 1949, the daughter of Clarence Klausing and Viola (Klausing) Schaffner, who both preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Eric Metzger and Jason Mitchell, both of Van Wert; a brother Bob Klausing of Van Wert; and a granddaughter, Brittany Mitchell. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Klausing. Linda was best remembered for being the first girl in Van Wert to have a paper route and waiting on many people in several local restaurants in the area.
