LaShaa’s Obituary Celebrating the Legacy of Sis. La Shaa (Harris) Montgomery. And God Shall Wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away. Revelation- 21:4 On August 7, 1962, in El Dorado, Arkansas Johnnie Lee and Magdalene Harris welcomed their 7th born, a beautiful daughter, whom they named LaShaa. Lashaa graduated from El Dorado High School. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ attending First Baptist Church on Cordell in El Dorado, Arkansas. She later united with the Greater Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. She Worked at Pilgrim Pride until she couldn’t work anymore. On November 8, 1981, she gave her hand in marriage to David Montgomery. Lashaa peacefully transitioned to her eternal resting place on November 28, 2019. A Thanksgiving we will never forget. She was preceded in death by her Parents Johnnie Lee and Magdalene (Maggie) Harris, and Son, Eric LaShaun Williams, Linda Kay Brazle, and John Michael Harris. LaShaa’s Loving memories will be cherished by one handsome son, Justin O’Brien Harris, special friend Roy Milton Davis, Grandchildren, Ere’anna Thurman, Trinity Renee Williams, and Faith Ann Williams; seven sisters, Betty Tucker, Monticello, AR, Laura Nell Johnson, Elnora Harris (Charlie), Mary Jean Johnson(Eddie James), Girtha Loretta Whatley (Tommy Lee) of El Dorado, AR, Toni Bridget Perry (David), Maumelle, AR, Phoebe Odessa Harris, Manassas, Virginia. One brother Nathan Rainey. Public Visitation Friday December 6, 2019, at Sims Mortuary from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Funeral Service Saturday December 7, 2019, at Greater Paradise Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., Interment will be at the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
