Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth Howard Savage age 83 of Asatula, FL formally of Clarksville, DE, went home to be with the Lord on November 26th, 2019. Ken was born on September 3, 1936 in Bishopville, MD son of the late Ed Savage and the late Dorothy Savage of Fenwick Island. Ken graduated from Selbyville High School then he began his career at Delmarva Power and Light, first as a lineman, then as an electrical engineer where he retired in 1995. Ken loved playing gospel, and country music which he did right up until the time he passed. He also loved the eastern shore, and the lakes surrounding his home in Florida. He loved the Lord and was involved with his church in Florida playing music for worship, and was a Deacon and musician at his church in Ocean View, DE. Ken will be remembered as a man who was devoted to God and who loved his family and his grandchildren very much. Ken was one of sixteen brothers and sisters of which he was the oldest male. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his sisters Rachel, and Mildred and his brothers David, and Edward. He is survived by his daughter Denise Rivera and her husband Mike Rivera of Milford, DE and by his son Ken Savage II and his wife Amanda Savage of Kill Devil Hills, NC and his five grandchildren Denae, Dylan, Ceira, Payton, and Noah and his siblings Margaret, Marion, Joy, Naomi, Joan, Betty, Evelyn his brothers Bob, Donald, Tom, and Paul. A visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Saturday December 14th, 2019 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd, Ocean View, DE 19970, where a memorial service will begin at 11am.
