Obituary Born to life on January 25, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of George Richter and Alvina Jensen Richter, Ken passed away on December 29, 2019 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin at the age of 72 years. Ken was preceded in death in 2004 by his wife of 31 years, Barbara J. Bartolowits Richter, along with being preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, George Richter, Jr. and Bruce Richter. He is the beloved and loving father of Valerie, Sara and Eric Richter; the cherished grandfather of Alexa Richter-Moore and Xavier Lee; and the fond brother-in-law of Diane Richter. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Ken worked for many years at Briggs & Stratton Corporation, prior to retiring to Wisconsin’s north woods. Visitation will be held for Ken on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 11:00am until the time of services at 1:00pm, all at Epikos Church – West Allis, 6229 West Greenfield Avenue, West Allis, Wisconsin 53214. Private interment will follow the services at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin. To send flowers to Kenneth’s family, please visit our floral section.
