Justa’s Obituary Justa A. Aguilar 89, of Groton died Sunday December 8, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born September 10, 1930 in Talara, Peru to Fernando Ruiz and Justina Inga Ruiz. She married Elias Aguilar in 1944 at the age of 14, he preceded her in death. Together they had 7 children She enjoyed and had a talent for sewing, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her Sons: Jorge Aguilar of New London, Luis Aguilar of Pawcatuck and Juan Aguilar of Peru; Daughters: Rosario Silva of Groton and Fanny Aguilar of Waterford; and a sister Carmella Ruiz. 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Besides her husband Elias she was preceded in death by Sons: Paul Aguilar and Roddy Aguilar. Visitation will be held Thursday December 12, 2019 from 4:00pm until her Funeral Service beginning at 6:00pm at the Byles Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street in Groton. Read More
