Mr. Godwin is survived by his wife, Jan Mason Godwin; sons & daughters-in-law, Terry Godwin & Kate, and Brad Godwin & Julie; daughter, Candy Godwin; brother & sister-in-law, V. J. Godwin & Kathryn; and sister & brother-in-law, Minnie Lou Browder & Melvin; four grandchildren, Jacob Godwin & wife, Mallory, Austin Anderson, Ashton Anderson and Madison Godwin; and one great-grandchild, Paisley Godwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Morrow Godwin & Alcus Wright Godwin, Sr. Funeral services for Mr. Junior Godwin will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 13, 2019 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with military graveside honors following in Gridertown Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home. Terry Godwin and Wesley Cooper will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Godwin, Austin Anderson, Ashton Anderson, Roger Godwin, Gary Cox and Larry Mock with BJ Godwin and Tony Moody serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Kate & Terry Godwin, 18352 TT Clark Rd., Opp, Al 36467.
