Juanita E. Coyle Bland, 88, of Bloomington passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her home in Bloomington, Indiana. Juanita was born on September 2, 1931 in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma and was the daughter of John Wade and Callie Ray (Carlisle) Hamilton. She was a 1949 graduate of Buffalo Valley High School. Juanita retired from Indiana University in Bloomington after 25 years as a secretary in the education department. She enjoyed country music, playing guitar, playing tennis, shopping, her RFD tv channel, riding motorcycle’s with her husband Russell, performing country music with her husband’s band Rusty Carson and the Buffalo Valley Boys who was an opening band for Elvis Presley, she also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Juanita is survived by her son, Rick D. (Theresa) Burgess of Bloomington; her grandsons, Kyle (Stephanie) Burgess of Seymour; Cody (Sarah) Burgess of Bloomington; two great grandchildren Isaiah Burgess and Collette Burgess; a brother, Steve (Jean) Hamilton of Bloomington; Brother-in-law, Alvin Gilmore of Bloomington; two nieces, Jane Duzan and Jean Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents, first Husband Ray Coyle, two sisters Ruth Gilmore, and Blanche Hill, a brother Frank Hamilton, second Husband Russell Bland. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Vineyard Community Church in Bloomington, a visitation will be held from 1:00pm to service time Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the church. Cremation Rites have been accorded Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
