Josephine M. Rumrill, age 90, of Johnstown, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility, Amsterdam. She was born on January 10, 1929 in Ticonderoga, a daughter of the late Frederick Prahm and Josephine M. Charilla Prahm. Josephine was a high school graduate and was a homemaker to her loving family. Mrs. Rumrill is survived by her daughters Josephine I. Stock of Johnstown & Christina M. Russell (Philip) of Buffalo, NY and her son Paul A. Vosteen of Johnstown. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Rumrill whom she married on December 24, 1988 and whom passed on February 3, 2013. In keeping with her wishes, there will no calling hours or funeral service. Private Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady. Inurnment will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, with a private graveside service on Friday. Contributions in Josephine’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
