Obituary José Jaime de la Rosa, known to his family and friends as “Boxhead” or “Chingonooonon”, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on Monday, November 6, 1972, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to José & Yolanda de la Rosa. José loved cooking out, watching UFC, going to movies and making everyone around him smile. Most of all, José will be remembered as a great husband, father and son. He is preceded in death by: his father, José de la Rosa; his grandparents, Lorenzo & Leonor Mendez and Roberto de la Rosa; his uncles Javier de la Rosa, Adolfo Mendez, Marco Antonio Mendez and Lorenzo Mendez; and his aunt, Eriselda de la Rosa. José is lovingly remembered and survived by: his wife, Liliana; his children Carlos, José, Isabel and Ezthibaly de la Rosa; his mother, Yolanda de la Rosa; his brother, Mario de la Rosa; and numerous extended family. José’s family will gather to receive friends from 2:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 in the evening.
