Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, December 7 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Jerald was born April 23, 1939, in Ottawa, to Wilfred H. and Eva M. (Bottomley) Kline. He served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1961. He was a former Shirland volunteer fireman. He was employed by Elco/Textron/Camcar from 1962 until his retirement in 2007. He was an avid fisherman and loved bingo. Survivors include his children, Anne Kline Smith, Andrew (Traci) Kline, Michele (Ed) Kline, Michael Kline, Kelly (Norman) Viel, Melinda (Robert) Kline Rivers, Stacy Kline and Jason (Dawn) Kline; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Sherrie Dickson and Sandra Kline; one brother, Fred Kline; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harry and his wife, Rita; a sister, Rose Bayer; two grandsons, Gary and Abel; and a sister-in-law, Gayle Kline. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home 1009 E.
