Jean’s Obituary Jean Isabel Bush, 93 of Mineral Wells, WV passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her residence surrounded by members of her family. She was born February 13, 1926 in Freed, WV, a daughter of the late Carl and Lottie Snider Belt. Jean was retired from the United States Postal Service after serving 35 years as a postmaster at Big Springs, WV. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir for many years and enjoyed gospel music. Jean is survived by her two sons, Roger Bush (Terri) of Vienna and David Garry Bush (Patty) of Pittsfield, PA; three grandchildren, Mack Bush, Erin Spangenberg (Ryan) and Erica Evans (Joshua); and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, David “Jack” Bush; her son, Rodney Bush; her brother, Raymond Belt; two sisters, Marlene Lewis and Carol Richards; and one grandchild, Christian Bush. The family wishes to thank Sarah, Jackie A., Jackie C., Kimi, Margie, Beth, Linda, Emily, Nancy and all the staff at Amedysis Hospice for their love and care given to Jean. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, with Pastor Steve Gedon officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Read More
