Irene’s Obituary Irene M. Myers, 85, of Moweaqua, died December 5, 2019 in her home. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Leia’s Hope Canine Rescue. Irene was born November 19, 1934, in Palmer, IL, the daughter of William M. and Christine (Durbin) Huston. She married Nuel D. Myers in Oakland, CA on April 19, 1953. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2004. Irene was a member of American Legion Auxiliary #257 and was retired from Archer Daniels Midland Company. Surviving are her sons: Terry D. (LeighAnn) Myers of Williamsville, IL, Thomas N. (Marta) Myers of Decatur, IL, and Todd V. (Connie) Myers of Moweaqua, IL; daughters: Luanne (Scott) Gorden of Moweaqua, IL, and Lisa (David) Sassatelli of Taylorville, IL; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
