Hubert Walton West, 89, of Ozark, Arkansas died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Crawford Health and Rehab in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a retired cattle rancher, member of Altus Church of the Nazarene, and member of Cattlemen’s Association. He was born August 1, 1930 to William Thomas and Mary Esther Ross West. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Imogene West Levi; and five brothers, Gerold, Herman, Tom, Billy, and Douglas. He is survived by his sister, Wilma Ray West Zolliecoffer, of Ozark. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Altus Church of the Nazarene with Brother Steven Travis officiating and burial at Nichols Chapel Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, January 2nd at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
