Helen Smith Fischer, age 88, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. She was born on January 5, 1931 to the late Sarah and David Smith in Marietta, OH. Helen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frederick T. Fischer; her children, Michael L. Fischer and Cathrine (Roger) Schwartz; her granddaughter, Malorie Souza; her brother, Delmar Smith; and many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, December 31st, 2019 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. followed by the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Austin & Bell Hendersonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
