Ginger Ellen Kendrick, age 62 passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Peuther Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vollie and Mae Stanley; and two brothers, Scotty Stanley and J.B. Stanley. Survivors Include: Husband: Tommy Kendrick Sons: Derek Kendrick and wife, Cora of Clintwood, Virginia and Eric Kendrick of Clintwood, Virginia One Brother: Cecil Stanley and his wife, Helen of Michigan Nephew: Brian Stanley Niece: Angie Kelly Special friends: Liz Silcox, Marlene Compton, Tonya Baker, Betty Cousins, Jennifer Ward, Rhonda Sluss, and many, many more Three Grandchildren: Carol Adkins, Corina Adkins, and Caylee Adkins The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Peuther Chapel Church with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Peuther Chapel Church. Joe Glenn Sluss will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kendrick Family Cemetery, Old Kendrick Farm Road, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Tom Baker, Brian Stanley, Cecil Stanley, Kelly Fleming, Willie Stanley, Bobby Kendrick. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Cousins, Greg Compton, Nathan Anderson, and Aaron Fleming.
