Obituary Gene Neil Hirsch, 70, of Tuscarora, PA died on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at home. Born in Coaldale, PA on May 16, 1949, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Elizabeth J. (nee Schmauch) Hirsch. A 1967 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Gene had worked for the Bethlehem mines driving a Euclid truck. He served 2 tours in Vietnam as a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps.
