Frances’ Obituary Mrs. Frances Cloetta Sutton, 80, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, after months of declining health. Frances entered this life on December 23, 1939, near Southwest City on the Oklahoma side, to the late Ray and Ethel (Roy) Cooper. She was raised and attended school in Southwest City. On August 10, 1960, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Sutton and to this union three children were born. Frances was the first female butcher in the area. She worked for several years at Town & Country in Anderson and Cooper’s Market in Pineville. She later worked in home health care both privately and for Oxford Home Health. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics and furniture and automobile upholstery. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-seven years, Kenneth Sutton on December 8, 2007; a daughter, Connie Paulson; a sister, Geraldine Booth; and three brothers, Louis, Jack and David Cooper. Frances is survived by her two children, Cloetta Chism of Lanagan and Randy Sutton and wife, Suzanne, of Anderson; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a son in-law, Andy Paulson; three brothers, Donald Ray, Kenneth and Billy Cooper; two sisters, Shirley Chastain and Raylene Reece; as well as a host of other family and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Sutton are 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Randy Sutton, Alex Sutton, Mike Keenen, Dane Paulson, Jason Testerman and Justin Kohley.
