August 22, 1936-December 17, 2019 Esther Faye (Herrington) White passed away Tuesday December 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband Berney, daughter Vickie and brother George (Bud). She is survived by daughter Laura Fialek, granddaughter Lizz Cook, son-in-law Dwayn Cook and sister Pearl “Bea” (Gary) Nestle. Esther was born and raised in Cannonsburg, and lived there for most of her life. She retired after a long career at Amway, and enjoyed spending time with Berney at their cottage up north in Bitely. She was an avid reader, and although she would never admit it, was quite fond of her granddogs. Esther was devoted to her family, and will be deeply missed by her friends and family. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N Monroe St., Rockford, MI 49341. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday December 20, 2019 at the funeral home after a visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, Esther’s family is asking for donations to the Cannon Township Historical Society, P.O. Box 24, Cannonsburg, MI 49317.
