Betty was born on February 26, 1945 in Naples, Italy to Anna (Fasciglione) and Louis Petruccio. At a few months of age, Betty and her mother came to the United States and they were later joined by her father following the conclusion of his US military service. Betty was raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, attended Bishop McDevitt High School, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy & Audiology from Pennsylvania State University. She married William White on June 6, 1970 in Hershey, PA. They lived in the Hershey area and had one daughter, Melany. The family moved to Derry, NH in 1987, and they later built their current home in Hampstead, NH in 2006. Elizabeth and Melany delighted in accompanying Bill on his business trips around the world where she made many lifelong friends. She was a woman of strong faith and was always praying for others. Every year, she looked forward to donating to multiple charities to help those in need. She always thought of others first, lending comfort and a listening ear even while undergoing treatments for her illnesses. In her own way, she let others know that she cared about them. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, William (Bill) White; her daughter, Melany Elayne White both of Hampstead; her brother and sister, Anthony Petruccio and Ann Petruccio Smith, both of Harrisburg, PA; as well as her extended family in Pennsylvania. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 4-7pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.
