Obituary Eleanor Louise Doorn, aged 88, of Grand Rapids, left her earthly home and took her first breath in her heavenly home on Christmas Eve of 2019. Eleanor is rejoicing in being reunited with her husband, Martin Doorn Sr.; her son, James Doorn; and meeting her Lord and Savior. Eleanor is survived by her children, Martin & Sue Doorn, Kate & Carl Mulder, Rich & Gina Doorn, John Doorn; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Dick & Joni Dunn, Jerry & Mary Dunn; extended family members, Sherry Terpstra and Shayne Doorn; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Eleanor was a long-time member of Calvary Church where she taught Sunday School for numerous years. Funeral Services will be held at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE) at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 26 with Rev. Bruce Huseby officiating.
