Eileen’s Obituary Eileen Rose Tyler, age 88, of Moscow, Iowa, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Genesis Health System- East Campus, Davenport. Cremation Rites will be accorded. A memorial gathering will held from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton. A service of remembrance will be held at 6:00 p.m., following the memorial gathering. A memorial fund has been established. Eileen was born on January 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Geitz) Hendricks in Prairie du Chien, Wi. She married Arthur Tyler Jr. on December 13, 1952 in Prairie du Chien. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2013. Eileen was a homemaker who cherished taking care of her family. She enjoyed creating woodcrafts with her husband, Arthur. They enjoyed attending craft fairs and flea markets. Most of all, she loved gardening and the outdoors, especially fishing. Eileen also enjoyed assembling jigsaw puzzles and treasured spending time with her cat, Lisa. Eileen will be dearly missed by her daughter, Carol (Kevin) Jones of Ames, Iowa; son, Larry (Sue) Tyler of Muscatine, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Kim (Rollie Ford) Tyler of Moscow, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great granddaughter, due in June. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur; their son, David Tyler; one sister; and one brother. Read More
