Obituary Eileen G. Bekavac, age 84 of Clairton, passed away at home on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Born January 13, 1935 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Toth) Gaydos. A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Eileen worked for many years at the Clairton Works FCU, retiring in 2000, and with Mike’s Jewelry. She is survived by her sons A. Blaise (Constance) Bekavac of Edgewater, MD and Gregory T. Bekavac of Clairton; her grandchildren Chelsey and Christin; and also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her siblings Robert Gaydos and Eleanor M. Lowe. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Church. Procession and burial will follow to Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
