Edward Dennis Jennings, age 61, of Gloversville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital. He was born on February 18, 1958 in Johnstown, a son of the late Edward Francis Jennings and Anita M. Walker. Dennis was a graduate of Gloversville High School and attended the University of Northern Virginia. Mr. Jennings served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. He is survived by his four siblings Timothy Jennings (Susan), Patricia DeVarennes (Bruce), Gail Van Auken (Tim) and Elise Jennings; six nieces and nephews Kristen Bridges (Kyle), Katherine Lathery, Taylor Lathery, Elysse Lathery, Timothy Van Auken and Nicholas Van Auken, one great nephew Knox Bridges and several cousins. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown with Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Memorial visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
