Obituary Edward Andrew Schroth was born in Lakewood, Ohio on November 8, 1935. He died in Farmersville, LA, on December 7, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Schroth. Also surviving are his sons Edward R. Schroth and his wife Tammy, Lawrence A. Schroth and his wife Peg, Daughter-in-Law Rebecca. He has 6 surviving grandchildren, Hanna, Christopher, Cameron, Stephanie, Andrew, and Cassandra. Five brothers, Roger, Ronald, Albert, Wayne, and Glenn also mourn their loss. Preceding him in death are his parents, Edward and Ann Schroth, his brother James, his son John and grandson Spencer. Ed was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1962 where he severed as an electrician. He received his bachelors degree in education from Kent State University and a masters degree in counseling from Cleveland State University. He retired from Cleveland city schools, Cleveland, Ohio after 27 years of teaching vocational electricity. Friends may call on SUNDAY DECEMBER 15 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the BAKER, OSINSKI, KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME 206 FRONT ST. BEREA. Funeral service Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Columbia Baptist Church 25514 Royalton Rd. Columbia Station, Ohio 44028. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
