DONALD’s Obituary Donald Eugene Marcussen, 83 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Burr Oak in Genoa City, WI. He was born September 22, 1936 in Wilmot, WI, the son of the late Adolf F. and Dorothy Emily (nèe Kanis) Marcussen. On March 24, 1956, Donald married Donna Jerde in Wilmot, WI. Donald was a member of Plumbers Local 130. He also loved to hunt and fish. Donald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna; their sons, Randolph and Jeffrey; their grandson, Brandon Hunter; his brother, Harold (Linda) Marcussen; his nephews, Casey (Amber) Marcussen and Michael (Rosemary) Hartman and his nieces, Christina Hartman and Jane Marcussen; and many other family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Marcussen; his sister, Betty Hartman; and his nephew, Brad Marcussen. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002 with Funeral Services commencing at 11:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow in Wilmot Cemetery, Wilmot, WI.
