Obituary A Memorial Service for David Timothy Howell, 73, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice. Mr. Howell passed away December 20, 2019. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Burley and Rachel Dailey Howell. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a Vietnam Veteran. He loved sports as an avid Gamecock fan. Mr. Howell was a history enthusiast and enjoyed fishing when he had the opportunity. He loved his family and enjoyed dancing with his wife Carolyn, early on in their lives together. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carolyn P. Howell, brothers, Paul Howell (Ann) and Charles Howell, sister, Juanita Conyers, and brother-in-law, Edward Abston (Jeannie).
