Danny’s Obituary Danny Jensen was born May 30, 1942 to Orville and Elva (Larsen) Jensen on the family farm. He died Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Bethesda of Beresford at the age of 77 years. Danny attended New Dale School then Beresford High School. He married Karen Reierson on August 14, 1961 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Beresford. Danny worked at Coop Oil in Beresford. Throughout his life, he farmed and raised cattle until 1991. He was active on the Garfield Township Board. Over the years, Danny and Karen’s main hobby was bowling where they earned many trophies. Their family always knew where to find them, at the bowling alley. Danny will always be remembered for his striped bib overalls and his love of John Deere. Danny is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Terry (Laura) Jensen and Jimmy (Monica) Jensen; six grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) Fickbohm, Garret (Emily) Fickbohm, Chantel (Darin) Fischer, Shania (Seth) Rozeboom, Drew Jensen and Sadie Jensen; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Sharon) Jensen; sister, Mary (Milford) Larsen; and sisters-in-law, Betty Jensen and Marlys Reierson. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Jensen; his parents, Orville and Elva; his brother, Cameron Jensen; parents-in-law, Warren and Millie Reierson; and brother-in-law, LaVerl Reierson. Funeral services will be 2PM Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Dalesburg Lutheran Church, rural Beresford. Visitation with the family present will be 5-7PM Wednesday, December 4th at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford.
