Daniel’s Obituary Daniel E. Stricker, 59, passed away peacefully in his home with his loving family by his side on Friday, December 6, 2019 after a long battle with an illness. He was born on October 21, 1960, the son of William and Marjorie (Heinzen) Stricker. On April 22, 1995 Danny was united in marriage to Tracey S. Gilgen in Mellen, WI. He was a self-employed logger for most of his life and started at a very young age. He was the Town of Morse Supervisor for many years and took enormous pride in the accomplishments he and others achieved during that time. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time enjoying the outdoors. He truly enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially the Minnesota Vikings and Wisconsin Badgers. His real passion was his children, grandchildren, and family whom he loved spending the majority of his time. He was well known for having a smart aleck, witty answer for whatever was thrown his way. Danny had a heart of gold and would do whatever was needed to help someone in need. Survivors include his wife, Tracey of Mellen, WI; Children, Danielle Stricker of Lake Oswego, OR, Natasha (Brent) McFadden of Glidden, WI, Keyan Stricker of Mellen, WI and Davin Stricker of Mellen, WI; Grandchildren, Jace, Hadley, Lydia and Levi; His Mother, Marjorie Stricker; Siblings, Sue Peters of Mellen, WI, Larry (Wendy) Stricker of Mellen, WI, Keith (Kathy) Stricker of Highbridge, WI, Diane Lutz of Mellen, WI, Debbie (Sandy) Stricker of Duluth, MN, Lori (Paul) Wiener of Mellen, WI, Rodney Stricker of Mellen, WI, Traci (Tony) Jones of Mellen, WI and Kim Kalmon of Mellen, WI, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, William; Sister, Mary Kruzan; Brothers Wayne and Jimmy Stricker; Brother-In-Law, Rick Lutz. A Memorial Service for Danny will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mellen, WI, with Pastor Donald Quigley officiating. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9 a.m. at the church in Mellen and will continue until the hour of service.
