Obituary Mrs. Dana Lynn Messer Gabaree, age 56 of Rutherfordton, North Carolina passed away at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills Inpatient Unit in Forest City, North Carolina with her loved ones by her side. The daughter of Wallace Messer, Sr. and Bettie Ann Smith Messer of Zephyrhills, Florida, she was born in Tampa, Florida on November 25, 1963. Dana who was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina, was known by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved clothes, wearing makeup and watching movies. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of over thirty years, Wayne Micheal Gabaree; five children, Kathleen Kidwell, Tiffany Harrington, Sabrina Harrington, Travis Gabaree and Danalynn Gabaree; three siblings, Wallace Messer ,Jr., Tammy Harrington, and Bettina McDonald. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Rashiauna, Deven, Aiden, Riley, Jakobi, and Phareign. According to her wishes, no services will be held.
