Clyde’s Obituary Clyde L. Sweatman, 96, of Camden, AR passed away Tuesday December 24, 2019. He was born March 24, 1923 in Chidester, AR to Robert and Ethel Sweatman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dale Sweatman and Henry Sweatman, and sister, Opal Sweatman Hickman. He was survived by his son, Kent Sweatman and wife Sharon of Camden, AR, 7 grandchildren, Christopher Bentz and wife Jessica of Bauxite, AR, Joseph Sweatman of Braynt, AR, Elaine Koone and husband Derrick of Arlington Heights, IL, Sherry Tyler of Quitman, AR, Sarah Tyler and husband Ed of Conway, AR, Nicholas Tyler of Conway, AR, and Nicole Tyler of Corpus Christie, TX , and 4 nephews and nieces, Robert McCord and wife Gaylynn of Little Rock, AR, John R. Sweatman of Camden, AR, Lena Kortes of Indianapolis, IN and Mary Graham of North Carolina. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
