Obituary Charles Ray Shoemaker, Jr., 67 Grafton passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1952, in Ohio, a son of the late Charles R. Shoemaker, Sr. and Helen “Bragg” Shoemaker. Mr. Shoemaker is survived by two nephews, Josh Green, Flemington and Cody Seargeant, Grafton; great niece, Sage Seargeant; cousin, Bob Shoemaker, Grafton, OH; and friends, Larry Lucas and Kim Kirk, Buffalo, WV. He was a 1970 graduate of Grafton High School and a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by one sister, Anita Green. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown at 12:00 noon. with Chaplain Randy Jennings officiating..Military Honors will be rendered by VFW Memorial City Post #3081, the American Legion, Taylor County Post #12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24 and their axillaries and the US Army National Guard of Camp Dawson.
