Charles’ Obituary Charles D. McPeek, age 55, of Topeka passed away Friday, December 27, 2019. Charles is survived by his wife and best friend of 32 years, Lisa; a sister, Janeane; and a brother, Steve. He is also survived by many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Donald and Virginia McPeek; a brother, Donald Jr.; and sister, Deborah. Charles was born on October 7th, 1964 to Donald and Virginia McPeek. He worked for the Shawnee County Health Agency for 34 years. Before working at the Health Department, Charles worked with his dad in his lawn service. He loved to hunt, fish, garden or do anything outdoors. He was a great cook and loved to cook for family and friends. He will be remembered for his wonderful full-of-life laugh and for being a very unselfish and giving person. He never met a stranger and had a great way of telling a story. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Memorial services will be Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
