Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn E. (VanPelt) Miller, 83, of Baldwinsville passed away on Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. Born and raised in Syracuse, she graduated from Syracuse Central High School. Carolyn furthered her studies attending Onondaga Community College. She was employed with Lockheed Martin for over 30 years as a purchasing agent retiring in 1998. She had been a resident of Baldwinsville since 1964. Carolyn had a passion for painting. Her artistic flair created many portraits and murals to proudly display. She loved flowers and spending time tending to her beautiful garden. Carolyn will be remembered for her loving caring demeanor, warm smile and great sense of humor. She was a member of the Syracuse Area Miniature Enthusiasts Club. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Caroline VanPelt and her sister, Elaine Cousins. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Donald R. Miller of Baldwinsville, NY, five sons, David A. Miller of Toledo, OH, Donald M. Miller and William A. (Paula) Miller both of Spencer, NY, Wayne F. Miller of Latina, Italy, Dale A. Miller of Fulton, her daughter, Sherry L. (John) Hunt of Liverpool, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews and a cousin. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm.
