Select Message Funeral Details Memory Wall Photos & Videos Plant a Tree Obituary Print Bulis “Booty” Howard Sexton, age 75, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, of 55 years. Booty was born May 6, 1944 in Maplewood, WV. He was the son of the late Watson Bulis Sexton and Opal Virginia Berry Sexton. He was employed by Westvaco, in the beater room, retiring with forty-five years of service. Booty was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Booty was an accomplished musician (even though he would never admit it), and he enjoyed playing music with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Booty is survived by his son, Bryan Howard Sexton and daughter, Shannon Sexton Broughman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kayla Lee, Morganne Lacks, Joshua Lee, Hannah Lee, J.D. Groves, Cole Sexton and Taylor Sexton and three great grandchildren, Haiden, Bennett and Mila; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sexton was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Syrena Dawn Sexton; a sister, Carol Jean Pomeroy; and a brother, Ronald Lee Sexton. A private family celebration of Booty’s life will be held at a later date.
