Obituary Brian Walter Hammond, age 66, of Troy, Ohio passed away on December 20, 2019 at the Kettering Medical Center surrounded by the people he loved most, his wife and children. Brian was born on November 23, 1953 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Cynthia Jeanette (Clifford) Hammond. Brian is survived by his wife: Karen “Cookie” (Baumgartner) Hammond: five children: Erica (Brian) Dean, MacKenzie (M. Brett) Sessions, Abbigail (Aaron) Locker, Lauren (JD) Haley and son David (Lindsey) Hammond; grandchildren: Andrew, Mara, Cameron, Morgan, Myles David, Charlie, Elliot, Marci, Emma, Johnny and baby Leni; and siblings: John “Todd” Hammond and Cyndi Hammond Belerose. Brian was a graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH where he enjoyed taking part in the musical theater program. He was an avid sports fan including the Buckeyes, UD, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Browns, but nothing brought him more joy than his family. The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
