Anderson, 51 years of age, and a resident of , of Sheffield Township, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019, at the Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness after seven years with the gift of life from his cousin Rhonda Killan. He was born September 28, 1968 in Amherst. Sheffield Township had been his home for most of his life. Brad was a graduate of Clearview High School with the class of 1987. He was employed as a Crane Operator for twenty-three years at Charter Steel in Cleveland. Brad was a loving husband, father and “Pap”. He coached little league at Lorain Youth Baseball with his sons for many years winning many championship. More than anything Brad loved watching his sons play Friday night high school football at Tom Hoch Field at Clearview High School. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and could be found watching either the Indians, Browns and Cavs games. He was an avid “houndsman” who loved hunting. He was known to have a quick wit and sense of humor. The true joy of his life was his role as “Pap” to his grandchildren. Among those who will cherish Brad’s memory is his wife of twenty-nine years Amy L. Anderson (nee: Osborn); his sons James Washington and Zach Anderson both of Lorain, Anthony Hitchens (Ashley) of Kansas City and Chad Anderson (FiancĂ© Haley Eckenrode) of Lorain; his grandchildren Preston Anderson, Zoey Anderson, Brantley Anderson and Ava Hitchens; his siblings Terry Anderson (Peggy) of Collins, Chuck Moore of Sheffield Township, Connie (Ray Zacharias) of Amherst and Malissa Anderson of Sheffield Township. He was preceded in death by his nephew Josh Anderson in 2019; and his parents Eugene and Betty Anderson (nee: Tucker). Friends may call Friday, December 13, 2019, from 4-8 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church; 41812 Griswold Road, Elyria. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles and Rick Keesee, will co-officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
