Blake Jonathon Taylor Gibson was an incredible friend, son, brother, husband, and most importantly a father. Blake’s dedication to his family will forever be unmatched. The size of his heart too large to describe with words. As a wholesome and dedicated man, Blake tried every day to make those around him smile and enjoy things in the present tense. There wasn’t a soul Blake came in contact with that didn’t have an opportunity to laugh and see things through his positive and goofy light. Blake leaves behind his young daughter, Annaleesia Teresa Marie Gibson, who was the light of his life as he was and will always be for her, his younger sister Madison Matthews who was his entire world, his wife and partner of 5 years, BreAnna Marie Gibson, who was Blake’s other half and he will continue to hold her heart for safekeeping forever, his parents Steven Matthews and Sara Matthews, and older siblings, Ryan Matthews and Drew Matthews, who made him feel safe in tough times and strong when he felt weak, his grandparents, Papa Bill Gibson, Grandma Lori Gibson, and Papa Ken Brecko who offered wise words and guidance when Blake felt lost, and many other family members and friends who made up a wonderful support system for an amazing young man who loved everyone with his whole heart. Blake is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Matthews and his dear to his heart YaYa Linda Brecko. The funeral service will be at Baxter Funeral & Cremation, 375 W. Dickman Rd., on December 7, 2019. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
