Betty Sue’s Obituary BETTY SUE EVANS WILSON, 87, of Staffordsville, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2019. She was born June 2, 1932 in Giles County, the daughter of the late Richard Clyde & Sarah Ellen Tabor Evans. She attended church at Eggleston United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She loved to crochet and made many homemade blankets for her family members. She was kind and caring and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John F. Wilson, Sr. and Herbert (“Buck”) Reynolds, her children, John F. Wilson, Jr., Wendell Wilson and Wanda Wilson, a daughter-in-law, Donna Wilson, her brother Sonny Evans, and her sisters & brothers-in-law, Beulah & Jay Wilson, Louise & Ronald Lucas and Gary Stafford. Left to cherish her memory are her sons & daughters-in-law, John (“Tex”) & Sharon Wilson, Steve & Diane Wilson, Stanley & Gale Chrupcala, David & Vicki Wilson, Marvin Wilson, Wilbur & Emily Wilson and Brian & Vickie Wilson; her daughter, Brenda Wilson; 29 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; her brothers & sisters-in-law, James & Flois Evans, Eugene & Evelyn Evans, and George & Dorothy Evans; her sisters & brother-in-law, Janie Stafford, Shelby & Gary Kerr, and Barbara & Fred Palmer; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members, too many to list. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Charlie Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 3, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The Wilson family is in the care of A.
