Obituary Barney L. Ross, Jr. of Stamford, Texas was born to Barney and Doris Ross on September 22, 1942, by whom he is preceded in death. He passed away on November 26, 2019 in Converse, Texas. He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Yolanda Ross. He also leaves behind his children Theresa Saucedo, Barney Ross III, Sabrina Ross, stepson Angel Sandoval; sisters Sandra Butcher and Yvonne Strickland; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Converse, Texas. He enjoyed woodworking and quilting with his wife. The family would like to thank Medical Team Hospice, nurse Debbie, and Chaplain David. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on December 2, 2019 starting at 5:00pm and a rosary at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day at St. Monica’s at 11:00am.
