Arline E. Adams, 88, of Muskogee, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 5, 2019. She was born on November 30, 1931 to Henry and Rosey May (Stonebarger) Clay in Braggs, Oklahoma. She married C.A. Adams on October 11, 1948 in Ft. Smith Arkansas. They shared many happy years with each other. Arline attended New Hope Assembly of God for many years before she moved over to the Community Gospel Center to hear her son preach every Sunday. She loved to bake, sew, shop and eat lunch with her friends. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending as much time possible with them. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Arline was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband C.A. Adams; daughter, Debra Henry; grandson, Jonathan Searles; and great-grandson, Colyn Jones. She is survived by her children, Floyd Adams and wife Karen of Vian, OK, Robert Adams and wife Angie of Muskogee, OK, Phil Adams and wife Barbara of Webbers Falls, OK, and Tabitha Kelley and husband Kyle of Haskell, OK; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials be made to New Hope Assembly of God Missions. A celebration of Arline’s life will be 10AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at New Hope Assembly of God with Pastor John Overton and Rev. Robert Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Field’s Cemetery in Porum, Oklahoma with Shane Adams, Aaron Adams, Blake Kelley, Taylor Kelley, Bodie Sandus, Tod Lane and Russell McNeely serving as pallbearers.
